I knew Tim through his leadership and work in UAW 2320. He was very creative and very principled, just about the most remarkable union activist I have known in either respect, let alone both. He paid for it from time to time, but never flinched. On a personal level, he was also among the kindest, most generous folks I've encountered. The fight for social justice, and the world, are richer for his having been here and poorer for his having gone. I join in Gina's hope that the memorial in Chicago will be available on line at some point for those of us who cannot make it there.
